Thank you very much for coming to our March 2004 meeting and giving us such an
insight into the food that we eat. You covered a tremendous variety of
topics whilst preparing and cooking a delicious three course meal.
I'm not sure which people enjoyed the most - the tasty and moist fillet steak with
creamed potatoes and wholegrain mustard or the caramelised apples with honey, cream
and that slug of homemade sloe gin!
You have certainly given us much 'food for thought’ and we all enjoyed your lively
yet friendly presentation. Several members have commented that you really made them
think about eating healthily by using local suppliers more and by using fruit and
vegetables in season.
