Dear Susanne,

Many apologies for not responding to your letter sooner, it was always ‘next’ on my list ‘to do’.

I hope you have already heard from Eileen Mc Phearson who owned the camera, which photographed you ‘in action’. There are four particularly good photos of you ‘waxing lyrical’ and demonstrating the art of cooking.

In answer to your request for comments made by people who attended F.I.G.S on the evening of you talk – this is what I got! 

That you were enthusiastic and conveyed your enthusiasm whole-heartedly and convincingly.

That you were very knowledgeable on your subject and able to convey that knowledge to your audience very well.

That it was a very enjoyable talk and demo.

That it made people aware of issues that they had not thought about a great deal prior to meeting you.

That it encouraged people to want to seek out local suppliers for the family food. 

Grateful that you lobby on our behalf.

I hope that ‘some’ of this might be helpful to you.

I am very sorry to hear from Sue that your mother is unwell.
